The Pacific Northwest inspection will be held September 28, 2008 at Donida Farm, Auburn, Wa. The inspection will have two international judges, Christina Olsson and Lasse Berglund from Sweden and is fun and educational! Everyone is welcome; the Swedish judges are very good about explaining what they are looking at; always with an eye to finding the best points of a horse.

The inspection usually starts at 8 am; please check the SWANA (Swedish Warmblood Association of North America) website or Donida Farm website for details.

Mares and foals will be inspected; also there will be riding horse tests and possibly stallion inspections. This year the Appendix Swedish horses may be branded with the Swedish brand. SWANA especially hopes for 3 and 4 year-old Swedish horses to participate in the Riding Horse tests; the tests include conformation, free-jumping, and light work under saddle.
