History:
Ernst Herrmann came to the USA in 1975. A friend of Stephen Page of then existing Oregon Dressage Institute, Ernie began doing clinics there sponsored by North Willamette Valley Chapter, the first chapter formed. In 1985, when student Joyce Stride established Century Spring Farm and the Pacific Crest Trail Chapter formed, Ernie began teaching at CSF. A popular clinician, he teaches three day weekends. In recent years, the weekend has been split between CSF in North Plains, Karen DeLano and Rennie Squier’s Blue Heron Lippizzans in Oregon City and Sunday lessons coordinated by Andrea Marek at Sonnenberg Farm in Sherwood.
