Help Stop Hunger in Central Oregon
The Central Oregon Chapter is hosting a food donation drive for NeighborImpact at the Central Oregon Dressage Classic, being held at the Rim Rock Riders Arena at Brasada Ranch on June 13th and 14th. We are asking all members, exhibitors, spectators, volunteers and show staff to bring non-perishable food items or a cash donation with them to the show.
Some donation suggestions are soups, canned fruits and vegetables, peanut butter, cereal, pasta, bottled juices, and boxed meals such as macaroni and cheese. Paper and personal hygiene products are also needed. Please, no glass items!
This is a great way to give back to our community and support our friends and neighbors who are struggling during these difficult times. As you are packing your horse trailer for the show, please add something for NeighborImpact to your list of essentials!
When you ride down that centerline, remember to “Halt. Salute. Donate.â€
AND….FLASH!
We’ve just received word that the Arabian Horse Association, Region 4, is sending rosettes to be awarded to the highest dressage score earned in each show by a registered Arabian, Half-Arabian or Anglo-Arabian. To be eligible for the award, simply file a copy of the horse’s registration papers with the Show Secretary.
